In 2018 the PowerOneForOne Foundation gGmbH was founded by the owner of the AREAM Group Markus Voigt and his wife Janine. AREAM is an asset manager which is investing more than 10 years exclusively in renewable energy investments like solar plants or windcraft parks.  Through their experience in renewable energy, they recognized that still 1.2 billion people are living without access to electricity and that one of the biggest challenges is the financing of clean energy systems to fight energy poverty.

So we started our own social project by founding the non-profit entity, the PowerOneForOne Foundation gGmbH, with the goal to fight energy poverty and expensive and dirty diesel generators in third world countries, with installing clean solar home systems or solar panels.
